Call for Applications: Leadership Through Sport – Almako Sport Diplomacy Program

Are you a young female athlete (aged 18–26) ready to grow as a leader through sport? 

Apply now for the Almako Sport Diplomacy Program: Leadership Through Sport, a regional training initiative supported by the U.S. State Department through the Global Sports Mentoring Program (GSMP), aimed at empowering young women in sport from North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Albania. 

This is the second edition of the program, following the successful first exchange held in Skopje in 2024. 

The upcoming training will take place in Tirana, Albania, on May 23–24, 2025, and is part of a well-organized program designed to equip participants with leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

The first day runs from 16:00–19:00 with sessions led by regional experts, while the second day concludes at 13:00 and focuses on personal and professional development through sport. Beyond learning, the program offers meaningful networking with fellow young female athletes from across the region. 

All travel (from Skopje), accommodation, and meals are fully covered. 

Female athletes from all sports disciplines are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be actively involved in sport, have good English skills, and submit a Motivation Letter in English (explaining their interest in the program and the sport they practice) to todorovska@sportsolutions.mk by May 8th, 2025
