Sport Social Solutions has partnered in a new project aimed at enhancing and testing a cooperation model to strengthen the resilience of the organized sport movement. This initiative seeks to reinforce the societal role of sport in building stronger communities, particularly by improving access to sport for the most vulnerable socio-economic groups. The goal is to better equip these communities to face crises such as energy shortages, displacement, and pandemics.
The project will focus specifically on vulnerable socio-economic groups who are underrepresented in sport and physical activity, ensuring their experiences are voiced in the development of the project’s deliverables. It will also consider the intersectionality of various forms of discrimination.
SURE project will last for 36 months, ending by 31 December 2026.
SURE is an Erasmus + funded project.
